The truth of the matter is that I am a huge EDM fan. For the most part, my playlists are littered with fast passed electronic hits that in all honesty start to sound the same after a while. With that said it was awesome to get a break from all the madness that is electronic music and changed direction completely with an indy-rock vibe that caught my ear as soon as it came on my playlist.
The German up and coming band Silent Attic just released the first single off their upcoming EP Escape (out 10/2/2020) and it is quite the record. “Hide Away” will capture your attention right from the jump with a guitar-led vibe on the beat that does a great job of slowly building as the vocals ramp up. Once the song gets going in full force you are introduced to a solid upbeat rock vibe that will ring in your head for days after it has ended. The song is full of amazing music break downs and is just plain epic!
I think it is safe to say I have officially become a huge fan of Silent Attic. They have more than a few releases coming up in the next few months along with their EP so we’ll be sure to keep you all posted on their latest drops!
