“Teenage Dream” is blaring this Friday, serving as a nice push to our canoe onward and into the weekend. This track is easily one of the best artistic works of Curtis Cole, the Tel Aviv based Electronica and EDM producer. He is best known for his catchy, and usually lyric-less songs. Cole is unique and daring, composing a sound that elicits great energy. Don’t stop at this one though, because his other pieces won’t disappoint either.
For most of his musical life, Cole has been working with synthetic sounds and keyboards to pull together an auditory escape. Each song is ridiculously unique, and you can really feel all of the diverse places he pulls sounds from throughout his discography. From ‘Lone Star,’ to ‘Empty Streets,’ to the techno-heavy ‘Ratata’-sounding like a Kids See Ghosts collab, Curtis Cole has an impressive body of work.
Curtis Cole comes highly recommended with the Rage Robot stamp of approval. If you find yourself listening to the likes of Flume, Tycho, and Com Truise, then there’s room you should leave for the producer from Tel Aviv.
Enjoy, good people!
