When it comes to old-school music, “Zombie” by The Cranberries has to be one of our all-time favorite records. The song is bold, catchy, and will be stuck in your head for days after being reintroduced to it.
With that in mind, we are always a bit weary when it comes to remixes or covers of the song as the original is so iconic. Still, today we happened upon a cover that just had to be shared, and so here we present Albert Vishi‘s energetic cover to the classic hit.
Featuring vocals from Ane Flem, this upbeat record finds Albert presenting the world with a solid electronic twist on the 1994 hit. Complete with some amazing builds and subtle drops, the cover is infectious and held down to no end by Ane’s beautiful vocals throughout.
The original is still our favorite, but this reimagining of the song has definitely captured our hearts, and for that, we bid you bravo, Albert! This is our first impression of Albert Vishi on Rage Robot, but we have to say he has definitely caught our attention. We’ll be sure to drop anything new Albert releases right here on rage robot in the future, but for now, we’ll be rocking out to his cover of “Zombie” for a whole minute.
