Our obsession with the singer/songwriting heavy hitter RØRY started at the beginning of this year when we hear her vocals on the hit song “Try” by MitiS. After hearing the track for the first time, we did a deep dive into RØRY and were excited to find an acoustic version of the song that legit blew us away.
Since then, RØRY has been featured on several hit tracks produced by some of EDM’s biggest names (K-391, Nurko, CAZZETTE), further solidifying her sound, style, and stake in the music industry. Today we happened upon her latest single, “Fuck Fame,” and have once again been taken away by her emotionally charged spark.
“Fuck Fame” features an emo/electro-pop edge that will capture your attention right from the jump with a sample of, I assume, an interview with Jay-Z. The snippet sets the tone for the record as a whole, and once RØRY comes in with her vocals, you will be instantly hooked. Complimented in a big way by an infectious hook, “Fuck Fame” takes the listener on an emotionally charged rollercoaster one won’t soon forget.
