We were first introduced to California native LAKE! back in February. His debut record “Dead Roses” captured our attention in a big way and laid a solid foundation of intrigue and fandom on our end, which is why we have kept our ears to the ground and kept a close eye on the hitmaker in the months following the release.
Lake! just released the follow-up record to his hit song “Dead Roses,” and we have to admit we have not been able to take it off repeat since we gave it the first run-through this morning. “Better Off Alone” is a fast passed record with an infectious vibe on the beat. The song sets the stage for Lake!’s fast-paced, unforgettable lyricism from beginning to end and will no doubt find its way into your head and live there for a minute.
If you ask us, LAKE! is a solid two for two with his current releases. His unique style and knack for releasing well-thought-out, polished records sets him apart and leaves us eager and excited for more new music from him in the future!
