While out on my daily run, I was lucky enough to be introduced to Cody Bolan. The Chicago born, Las Angeles based up and coming artist just dropped his latest record, “DMV,” and it instantly caught my attention. I have yet to take the song off repeat since I heard it this morning and have no doubt I’ll continue my “DMV” party for the rest of the week.
“DMV” features an R&B/Hip-Hop-infused vibe on the track. The beat is easy going and catchy throughout and proves to be the perfect compliment to Cody’s smooth lyricism from beginning to end. The hook is creative and will ring in your head for days making for a solid hit when all is said and done.
We’ll be sure to do a deep dive into Cody Bolan’s musical catalog and report back here with what we find. For now, we’ll be rocking out to”DMV” for a whole minute!
