Our love for Lil Wayne has stood the test of time for well over 15 years now. While our attention to his music has waxed and wanned over the years, the love we have for this lyrical monster has stayed strong and will no doubt never fade!
With that said, this morning, I took a cruise on over to datpiff.com as I had not been on the site in a while. I was surprised to see Lil Wayne had dropped a mixtape entitled “No Ceilings. 3: B Side Mixtape” and was instantly interested in the mix. With one feature from Big Shaun and 11 tracks on the tape, I knew there had to be some fire.
As I listened through, I was met with “Peanut Butter” and instantly fell in love with this record’s sound. The beat is old school and has a slight reminisces of the old school hit “Suga Suga” by Baby Bash. Lil Wayne’s verses are out of this world from beginning to end, and the lyrical break downs from verse to verse will undoubtedly leave your head spinning. The song as a whole will leave a solid impression, and no doubt reignite the excitement you’ve always had for Weezy!
