Have you ever heard a song that just hits you right in the feels? A song that immediately takes you back to some of your past relationships and makes you question how much time you wasted on them. My favorite lyric, “Will we burn, or will we repent” made me think about a past girlfriend and how I constantly battled with if we were wasting each other’s time. I discovered this song while watching the series finale of How to Get Away With Murder on Thursday. I’ve probably watched the last five minutes of the episode 100 times over the last few days. Matt Maeson‘s music feels so raw that you almost forget that you weren’t with him when he wrote it.
I look forward to hopefully seeing him live at the House of Blues Las Vegas in October, but until then I’ll have this on repeat.
