Our obsession with the Quincy, Massachusetts native/California-based up-and-coming artist Glvsshouse first took form when we heard his emotionally driven hit “R.M.L.” The ambient, lyrically driven record built a foundation of interest and intrigue for our writers here at Rage Robot leading to a close following as we were interested to see where his music would go.
Today we happened upon his latest release, “Games,” and the colorful collideoscope of a music video for the record and could not be anymore in awe of his creativity. “Games” was produced by Julian Skiboat and features an acoustic guitar-led beat that sets the perfect stage for Glvsshouse and his infectious vocals from beginning to end. The song is easy-going, upbeat, and proves to be a solid record to vibe out to.
The video was created by Logan Gardner and does a great job of depicting Glvsshouse’s lyricism in the song. Logan takes the viewer on a colorful journey of a lost love playing literal games with Glvsshouse.” The metaphorical storyline is depicted in a Pixar-style animation video that proves to be entertaining and a solid piece of art I think Logan, Julian, and Glvsshouse should be entirely proud of.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted with the latest and greatest from Glvsshouse in the future, but for now, we’ll be vibing out to “Games” for a whole minute.
