I wasn’t going to post this song/music video because I figured everyone and their mom was aware of the track when it dropped. Today I was proved wrong when a friend of mine asked me what song was playing on a car ride to the train so I figured I better show it some love for those who had yet to experience the epicness that is G-Eazy and blackbear‘s collaboration!
“Hate The Way” is a somber record with a subtle upbeat vibe that will capture our attention with an infectious hook performed by blackbear. As the record progresses blackbear’s hook intensifies and will leave a real mark on the listener when the song ends.
If you read Rage Robot you know we are HUGE fans of G-Eazy. His flows are effortlessly cool and he does an amazing job of painting a picture with words. His verses on “Hate The Way” are no different. His lyrics are emotional but quippy and will have you doing your best to sing along as the song plays out.
